Hello. My name is Steven
Schneiderman, and welcome to my service, Publishing for Professors.
Allow me to introduce myself and to share my background with you.
In 1983 I earned my M.A. in English,
with a focus on Creative Writing, and I taught English for three years
at Queens College (City University of New York). While I made
preparations to continue to my PhD., I started feeling the pressure
from the department to "publish or perish."
I was lucky because I received two
university awards for my writing, and I was having remarkable success
using my writing techniques with my students. In fact, Harper and Row
showed tremendous interest in a draft of a textbook I started writing
called "Crossed Swords."
But many are less
fortunate than I. For a variety of reasons, many college instructors
struggle to get attention and critical acclaim for their work. Most
are incredible teachers and give a lot to their students and
departments, but still they are challenged by the publishing process.
I eventually left teaching to move into the corporate world, but I
never forgot about my colleagues.
In 2001, I embarked
on a project to bring publishing to the masses. I knew that there were
many people like me who had knowledge to share and stories to tell,
but no vehicle in which to do so. Thus, EbookoMatic
was born. I created the first electronic publishing service of its
kind -- a place where anyone could publish, promote, distribute and
sell ebooks within minutes.
Since I launched
this service, I have published over 500 authors worldwide and nearly
1000 ebooks across a wide variety of genres including mathematics,
physics, metaphysics, business management, marketing, automation,
computer programming, history and much more. You can take a look at
our Ebook Store here.
Through EbookoMatic,
my colleagues now enjoy the notoriety they deserve AND many are also
supplementing their income with monthly royalty checks. What about
you? Doesn't your work deserve the attention of your colleagues and
students? Wouldn't you like to start generating an income from your
books?
Let Me Introduce You To A Few Of
Your Colleagues Who Are Experiencing Success With Our Service.
